Transfer 4 semana 6
Hello hello!
Sorry for any confusion that may have come from my earlier email. Last week's didn't send so it had to go out this morning. I'm also sending this late, so didn't have time to attach pictures.
We've had a lot of rain here in the Aberdeen area. Harvest is delayed a little bit because the fields are too wet so that messes things up. But things are going well!
Wednesday after our District Council in Pocatello, we got a chip in our windshield filled in. They also vacuumed our car which was great because the day before on Pday, the car wash we normally go to wasn't accepting credit cards so we couldn't pay for a car wash. We also got to have lunch with the American Falls Hermanas which is always fun.
Thursday, we were driving down the road and a rock came and chipped our newly fixed windshield
. We also got to attend a baptism that the American Falls Hermanas had and I felt weirdly anxious during it. Not exactly sure what caused it, but I have a great companion who is willing to help me through my troubles. I did get to eat some delicious watermelon after the baptism though.

We went to the Panadería in town and the owner came out to talk with us. He was talking about how I need to speak more Spanish, and made a comment about how the hamster in my head is sleeping. Which is probably true haha. Then we walked around town and saw some kids on the playground at recess. We passed by and one of the kids we are teaching saw us, jumped off the swing in midair, didn't stick the landing, and fell flat on his front with woodchips flying everywhere. He was okay, and popped tight up to say hi.
Saturday was a hard day, all of our scheduled appointments canceled and we basically did nothing all day. The holiday weekend made it hard. Sunday we went to English class after church and it was so fun! We also exchanged that night and I went on my first overnight exchange!
On Monday I was in Pocatello (Tyhee) and it was rough. I had forgotten my Aquaphor for my chapped lips and had to use canola oil to moisturize them. Also forgot my earplugs, and I slept right in front of the fan and was cold the whole night. Poor me. Then with a night of poor sleep, I felt anxious the whole day. Not a good combo. I was really happy to go home and sleep in my own bed and be with my own companion.
I've run out of time! Pictures will come next week in their own email. Sorry! I love you all!
