Transfer 4, semana 2

 Hello everyone!

I feel like I don't even know hat happened this week! But I know we did a lot of good things!

Thursday we had zone conference! We talked about working with the members and fellowshipping our investigators, because missionaries change a lot more often than the members. We had Hermana Beard's famous French toast and it was delicious (though very carb-y). My mom also bought me a small harp for my birthday and it arrived today. I've spent a few minutes each day tuning it because it was very out of tune when I got it. But soon I'll be able to play it!

Friday I ended up taking a very long morning nap. I hadn't slept well the previous two nights, so ended up sleeping through my studies. I felt really bad about it but I also like to believe that God knows our limits and capabilities. He called me on a mission not to be a perfect missionary, but to me. And sometimes that means taking a nap so I can function later in the day. We still ended up finding two new people to teach that day though, so I think God was pleased with our work.

Saturday for dinner we had a light dinner of chicken ceasar salad and it was so nice to not be absolutely stuffed afterwards. It was also a last minute dinner appointment so we really appreciated it. We then went to a wedding reception (we get invited to the randomest events) and saw the family we ate dinner with! They fed us a light meal because they were going to eat again at the wedding but we didn't even care! They were embarrassed to get caught but we thought it was funny.

Sunday we went to the Spanish ward and we bore our testimonies. I was surprised at how easily the words came to me and how amazing it is that I can speak as much spanish as I can after just six months. Sunday was also my Six Month mark on my mission! I'm one third of the way done! It's so nice to know how much the Lord helps us when we do His will.

Monday we had a lot of return appointments and talked with a ton of people. Our dinner appointment ran long. We're supposed to eat dinner at 5 and be out from 6-9 working. But this family asked us to eat at 6:30! We were sad because there was a ward party in the spanish ward that we wanted to go to and talk to the members, but the family had some friends that they wanted us to meet so we went. But then we didn't start eating until 7:30. We're supposed to only be at dinner for one hour. It was a crazy night, but we still managed to get to the party for a few minutes before curfew.

Today we went to a boutique in Pocatello and they had "secret discounts" in envelopes that we could use. I bought a dress and a necklace and got a $25 gift card! The lady was so excited and put me on their Instagram story, and my sister Katie took a screenshot of it for me. Thanks Katie :)

I hope this email was entertaining enough. So much happens everyday, but it's not very interesting to tell. Mostly knocking on doors and no one answers.

I love you all! Have a great week and I'll talk to you next week!

We went to the temple today!

Treats from the Mexican bakery!

Hermana Hyde had an allergic reaction to this horse because she touched her eye after petting it.

We saw a random cow walking in the road???

One of our investigators daughters drew a picture of me with a cat!

Someone put googly eyes on this poster in Walmart
