CCM semana seis! Next up: Idaho
¡Hola Hola!
Well, the good news is I don't have COVID. I was feeling poorly last night, sore throat, chills, body aches, etc. My companion felt similarly so we got tested just in case. The test was negative though which is amazing because we are leaving on Wednesday and would have been stuck here. The bad news is that the test was horrible. The doctor had to stick it way up my nostril and it was so painful. But it was with it that I know it's not COVID and don't have to be quarantined. It rained this past week and was cold (and we may or may not have played volleyball in the rain one day), so I think that was when our immune systems were weak enough to get sick.

Since this week is our last week here in the CCM, we've been full speed ahead for Spanish. We promised on Monday that we would speak only in Spanish this whole week. We're terrible at doing it but when we actually do it, it's a lot of fun. Because our vocabulary isn't all that great, we just end up using a lot of hand motions and sound effects.
Well, next week I'll be in Idaho. My flight is at 7 am and I have to meet my travel group at 2:30 that morning. There's one other missionary going to my mission with me, and he's in my district! I hope there will be other missionaries there from the Provo MTC, but I'm eager to be in the field. Speaking of Idaho, last week I said I would put my mission address, and then promptly forgot to. Oops. So here it is for real:

My spiritual thought for this week is from Alma 32:21 in the Book of Mormon, "And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." As missionaries, one of our goals is to teach people about faith in Jesus Christ. We teach them how to gain faith and what to do with it.
I hope that all of you have faith in something, even if it's not in Christ. Thanks for reading my email! I'll talk to you from Idaho!
Love and prayers,
Hermana Soh
